2023 Annual Report: Building a Sustainable Foundation for Inclusion
Marking its first operational year, the CRDB Bank Foundation successfully reached over 100,000 beneficiaries, igniting entrepreneurial spirits and bridging the financial gap for underserved youth and women.
Introduction
The 2023 Annual Report chronicles the inaugural year of the CRDB Bank Foundation, a period defined by the ambitious launch of the iMbeju program. Officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister in March 2023, the Foundation established itself as a catalyst for socio-economic change. Our strategic focus on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital inclusion led to the capacity building of 109,722 individuals and the provision of TZS 2.4 billion in vital seed funding.
Beyond business development, our community initiatives, such as the CRDB Bank Marathon, delivered life-saving healthcare to children and high-risk expectant mothers. This report reflects our commitment to transparency and our mission to integrate vulnerable communities into the mainstream economy.
By fostering strategic partnerships with both local and international organizations, we have laid a solid groundwork for sustainable, inclusive growth that promises to transform lives for generations to come.
